BurJuman Mall is one of Dubai’s oldest shopping centres. Due to the evolution of the catchment area population, the mall had lost relevance amongst the surrounding population. Social Shop by Aurora was brought in to rebrand the mall and make it a more ‘family focused mall’ through its social media platforms.

An Overview of Activities Undertaken

  • Revamped the centre’s social media strategy in order to create an engaging community

  • Content development and strategy

  • Social media and community management including social media advertising

  • End-of-month reports to meet KPIs

Successes:

  • BurJuman’s Facebook community now sits at over 100,000 members and engagement rates are well over 3% monthly, despite Facebook’s algorithmic challenges
